Misuse of Public Grievance Monitoring System (PGMS) of Delhi Government through anonymous or fake-named petitions

Delhi Government should make provisions in its popular Public Grievance Monitoring System (PGMS) to avoid its misuse by those posting anonymous or fake-named petitions. Only recently Department of Administrative Reforms (Central Government) after realising misuse of its similar portal www.pgportal.gov.in made important provision of making it compulsory to put Aadhar-Number while posting any grievance on the portal. There were also reports that some misusers used to make postings in name of some known social-activists.

Delhi Government should also improve its PGMS portal by incorporating important changes which may make it compulsory to give name, address, E-mail ID, mobile/landline phone-numbers and Identification Proofs like Aadhar-card number etc to check misuse of the portal which at times unnecessarily consumes valuable man-hours and resources of departments of Delhi Government in dealing with postings made by anonymous or fake-named petitioners.
