Litigations

Importance of Public Interest Litigation

The Importance of Public Interest Litigation comes from the fact that India as a democratic country has huge respect for the judiciary. In the absence of the Government’s pro-activeness for solving major social/economic/political or environmental issues; the Courts all around India devised a method of PILs. We have seen huge changes due to this. CSLRA understands the importance of PILs; thus commits to raise the problems/issues in the competent courts with the help of competent lawyers.

In case you have any issue which you think is important enough to be raised in the courts; you are free to share the same with us. Please write us at contact@cslra.in mentioning PIL in the heading and we will get back to you within 48 hours.

Boiler’s Act Violations PIL-2

After CWP No. 10877 of 2015 was disposed off by Hon’ble High Court; a group of activists approached us for redressal of their grievances. In a matter which came as a surprise for us; there is a large amount of corruption in Haryana in the field. Fraud persons are holding Boilers Act certifications and also holding charges of the Boilers in all around Haryana. The same is not only corrupt practice but also highly dangerous to the society at large as the same can take many innocent lives due to mishandling of industrial boilers where the temperature goes even upto 540 degrees. The petition is disposed of with direction to Labour Commissioner Haryana to look into the allegations and decide the same accordingly.
